Job Summary:
The LTE – O&M Manager will oversee the operations and maintenance of telecom networks, focusing on BTS, MW, and OFC technologies. This role requires over 10 years of experience in the telecom sector, with a strong background in GSM, UMTS, and LTE technologies. The manager will lead a team of engineers and riggers to ensure network uptime and SLA compliance, handle troubleshooting, and manage the deployment of new network infrastructure. Expertise in Huawei equipment, telecom power systems, and project management is essential. Certifications like PMP and CCNA are advantageous. The role demands readiness to work in the field or at night during network emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage telecom engineering operations for a zone, cluster, or regional level.
• Maintain network uptime and SLA, supervising a team of engineers and riggers.
• Conduct O&M of Huawei eNodeB, RTN, OFC, and IP network nodes.
• Supervise routine operations related to access network (power equipment / BTS / MW / Fiber and
Access Router Nodes).
• Oversee project management and deployment of new eNodeB, MW, and Fiber network as required.
• Maintain high-level understanding of link budget, IP, RF planning, and regulatory aspects of telecom
network.
• Manage Fiber rollout, FTTH, UBR radios, and deployment scenarios.
• Work with telecom cellular technologies such as GSM, UMTS, and LTE.
• Ensure working knowledge of telecom power systems, generators, and utilities.
• Maintain reports
Education & Experience:
• BTECH / B.E: ECE/CSE/SS
• Individual with more than 10 years of experience in the telecom domain, specifically in BTS & MW + OFC operations and maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong exposure to telecom cellular technologies like GSM, UMTS, LTE, etc.
• Proven experience in independently handling telecom engineering operations.
• High-level understanding of link budget, IP, RF planning, and regulatory aspects of the telecom network.
• Knowledge in Fiber rollout, FTTH, UBR radios, and deployment scenarios.
• Certifications such as PMP, CCNA are an added advantage.
• Willing to work in the field or during the night during network emergencies and outages.
