About The Job

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Branch Manager to oversee the complete operations of our client’s Tyres & Accessories branch in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, inventory management, and team leadership, with a focus on maintaining and expanding market share within the assigned territory.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for achieving monthly sales targets, managing dealer and customer relationships, and ensuring efficient branch operations.

Role Desciption:

 

  • Branch Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including sales, service, and inventory management.
    • Ensure smooth functioning of the branch by effectively managing resources and staff.
  • Sales & Collections:
    • Drive sales performance to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
    • Manage collections at the branch level to ensure timely and accurate financial management.
  • Market Development:
    • Retain and grow the current market share within the territory.
    • Identify and develop new or untapped markets in the region.
  • Dealer & Customer Management:
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships with dealers, corporates, and institutional clients.
    • Conduct regular customer visits and consistent follow-ups to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Competitor Analysis:
    • Gather and analyze information on competitors, including pricing, new products, sizes, and promotional schemes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of sales and branch staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
    • Provide guidance and support to the team to achieve branch goals.
Qualifications:

 

Education & Additional Information:

  • Education: MBA preferred.
  • Age Range: 30-40 years.
  • Industry Preference: Experience in the Tyres industry is preferred

 

Key Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the Tyres industry. Experience in after-sales service is an added advantage.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the African markets is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Key Account Management: Proven ability in managing key accounts and driving business growth.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges proactively.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated experience in team leadership and manpower management.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS) and data analysis.
