Role Desciption:

 

Job Summary:

National Sales Manager responsible for driving brand commercial strategy, achieving sales targets, and leading a national sales team within the distribution network. Focus on profitable sales growth, strategic planning, and strong client relationships. Reports to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute national sales strategies, align with cross-functional teams, and create sales plans/budgets.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor Zonal Sales Managers, foster collaboration, and support product distribution.
  • Market Analysis & Client Engagement: Identify market opportunities, build client relationships, and address client needs.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting: Oversee sales, promotions, and collections; maintain reporting tools; and prepare sales reports/presentations.
  • Promotional Activities: Plan and coordinate promotional events and trade shows.
Qualifications:

 

Education: Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years in sales, particularly in FMCG (biscuits), should be currently at a Zonal/Regional Sales Manager role with strategic sales process experience.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Team player.
