About the role:
The role of a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is to oversee all financial operations, ensure strong financial governance, and support the company’s growth in the power and energy sector. The CFO will lead financial planning, risk management, multi-currency operations, treasury management, and balance sheet integrity while guiding the executive team with accurate financial insights and strategies.
Role & responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
• Drive long-term financial strategy aligned with growth and efficiency goals.
• Act as strategic finance partner to the CEO and board.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
Multi-Currency & Treasury Management
• Oversee multi-currency operations, FX exposure, and group consolidation.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, bank relationships, and working capital.
• Implement currency risk mitigation and hedging strategies.
Financial Health, Risk & Compliance
• Monitor balance sheet strength, capital structure, and solvency.
• Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and investment risks.
• Ensure IFRS, statutory, tax compliance, and audit management.
Reporting, Controls & Stakeholder Management
• Oversee timely financial reporting and strengthen internal controls.
• Manage investor, banking, and regulatory relationships.
• Support business teams with profitability analysis, pricing, and investment evaluations.
