Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Director to lead the Risk & Business Process Optimisation function across the organization. In this role, you’ll oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and process improvements while guiding and mentoring a team of auditors. Your expertise in audit strategy, risk management, and business process optimisation will be key to driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Internal Audit department, ensuring effective execution of the annual audit plan.
  • Conduct integrated audits and risk assessments covering financial, operational, compliance, and IT areas.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
  • Guide and mentor audit teams; perform Level 2 reviews of audit workpapers.
  • Develop and maintain audit programs, KPIs, heat maps, and risk dashboards for management reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business process optimisation initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of audit best practices and ensure compliance with IIA standards (IPPF).
  • Manage team performance, development, and training.
  • Participate in special projects and provide advisory support on business risk and controls.
Qualifications:

 

  • Chartered Accountant is essential.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant audit experience (Big 4 and/or large MNCs preferred).
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role leading audit or risk teams.
  • Exposure to Trading and Manufacturing industries.
  • Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
