Role Overview

The Industrial Sales Manager will drive revenue growth across power products and services by managing key accounts, developing new business, and owning the complete sales lifecycle. The role carries full responsibility for P&L, margins, sales strategy, and target achievement across assigned sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales strategy and achieve revenue and margin targets
  • Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to payment collection
  • Prepare costings, quotations, and commercial proposals
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using ERP/CRM tools
  • Acquire new customers and expand product and sector coverage
  • Coordinate with finance, logistics, and service teams for smooth execution
  • Track sales performance and provide regular management reports
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and ISO standards
Qualifications:

 

Education

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar industrial or power solutions sales role.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial or power solutions sales
  • Strong technical knowledge of UPS, hybrid solar, and energy storage systems
  • Solid commercial and negotiation skills with margin ownership
  • Experience working independently in target-driven environments
  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background

  • Exposure to sectors such as Banking, Telecom, IT, Industrial, Medical, Oil & Gas, or EPC.
  • Prior experience working in African markets is a strong advantage.
